Welcome to our village
The Cabrillo Folk Dance group has been dancing for over forty years. The weekly class, with 1-1/2 hours of teaching followed by 2 hours of requests, meets every Friday at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA. (See the Classes page for details.) We also have informal gatherings and occasional parties with live music at other venues.
Live music is the best music for dancing, and we try to have a band on one Friday every month at the Cabrillo studio. There are also additional parties throughout the year at other places. See the Parties/Events page for current happenings. With a repertoire of maybe 500 dances that keeps growing, we have a lot of fun teaching and dancing with beginners and experienced dancers alike.See the Dances page for information on our dances.
